Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of DrivingMateAU (the “service”), a platform that lets learner drivers book and pay for driving lessons with instructors. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility & accounts

You must be eligible to learn to drive in your state or territory and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.

Bookings & payments

• Lesson availability, prices, and any packages are shown before you confirm a booking.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Where “pay later” is offered, the instructor confirms the booking and payment is settled as agreed.
• Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund arrangements are made with your instructor; please give reasonable notice.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to it, or use it for any unlawful purpose. Instructors and students agree to treat each other respectfully and to follow all applicable road and traffic laws during lessons.

Lessons & safety

DrivingMateAU facilitates bookings between students and instructors. Driving lessons involve inherent risks; participants are responsible for complying with the law and acting safely. To the extent permitted by law, DrivingMateAU is not liable for the conduct of instructors or students during lessons.

Changes to the service and Terms

We may update the service or these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
